System separation

AyurDoc and OpenEMR (or other EHR) are separate systems with a hard data boundary. OpenEMR is the PHI system of record.

Link, don't copy

AyurDoc stores external patient identifiers only. Demographics, insurance, medications, and chart data from EHR are not copied into AyurDoc.

Patient display

The UI shows patient IDs or MRNs — not full names from EHR. Doctors view PHI in the EHR in a separate tab.

Audit logging

Audit logs record action metadata only — no clinical snapshots or PHI payloads.
